For some clients, traditional talk or skill-based therapies are not the best intervention, and in keeping with our commitment to provide a wide variety of integrative interventions to best meet individualized needs, we are pleased to offer expressive arts therapies, including art therapy, dance/movement therapy, and music therapy services.
Art Therapy can bridge the conscious and unconscious processes and foster healing, growth, and resiliency. Through the use of art media, the creative process, and the resulting artwork, client's can explore their feelings, reconcile emotional conflicts, foster self-awareness, manage behavior and addictions, develop social skills, improve reality orientation, reduce anxiety, and increase self-esteem. This process can restore a client’s functioning and sense of personal well-being, and is an excellent therapeutic intervention.
Art therapy is available for individual or family counseling sessions.

"My daughter LOVES Brigit's dance/movement group, and I have noticed she is having an easier time with boundaries and her self-esteem has sky rocketed! It was the perfect addition to her trauma therapy!"
"Evelyn is by far the best therapist my daughter has ever worked with. Her creativity and use of art as a tool has made my daughter feel and do better. I work in the human service field myself, and have become a true believer in art therapy."
