Additionally, we understand that many women are unable to access treatment while on bedrest or when they are immediately postpartum and these can be times of particular need for assessment and treatment. We are available to offer some tie limited phone sessions or home-based services during this time period.
Did you know that an emotional complication is the most common complication of pregnancy and postpartum (perinatal) periods?
Family planning, pregnancy, and the postpartum period bring unique transitions and needs into the life of a family. It is important that both women and men have the support they need to be successful. We are pleased to have practitioners at the practice trained in maternal mental health needs, including symptoms associated with the psychological impacts of infertility and fertility treatments, perinatal mood disorders and postpartum depression, co-occuring partner mood symptoms, pregnancy loss, and struggles around pre-adoptive/ adoptive families.
