Biography: Laura Wheeler brings with her extensive experience working with individuals and couples who are experiencing a variety of mental health symptoms. Laura has tremendous experience working with children and families who have experienced trauma, socioeconomic difficulties, and disabilities. Laura’s areas of specialty include working with members of the LGBTQIA+ community and those who are working through questions surrounding their identity, individuals with relationship or parental difficulties, and neurodivergent children and adults. Laura utilizes a variety of therapeutic approaches, tailored to the individual clients needs. A graduate of Assumption University, Laura has an educational background with focus on CBT, TF-CBT, Motivational Interviewing, and Child and Adolescent treatment. Laura has experience treating individuals who are experiencing depression, PPD, anxiety, ADHD, ASD, attachment disorders, substance use disorders, and trauma.
