Julia Martiros, MSW is a clinical social worker skilled in providing individual therapy to children and adolescents. She worked for many years in home-based care with elderly, younger people with disabilities,and their families, and has spent the last two years as a counseling intern
at a high school for children with neurodivergent learning needs. Julia uses a holistic, authentic, strengths-based approach, combining a variety of methodologies such as CBT, DBT, and elements of art therapy, animal assisted therapy, and ecotherapy.
Throughout her career, she has worked with a variety of individuals and families from diverse cultures, identities, and backgrounds. She aims to empower clients to advocate for their wants and needs through uncovering and strengthening the positive attributes that exist in all of
us, while simultaneously providing tools, knowledge, support, and encouragement.
