Please feel free to learn about our class offerings, the benefits of specific yoga practices and classes, and the appropriate practice level of each class. Please note that many of our classes are appropriate for all-levels, but that we encourage new students to take advantage of one of our introductory series, intensive workshops or a begiiner friendly class before delvng into our more moderate/advanced level classes. Please note that our schedule changes periodically, with new classes being added, so check the mind-body site for updates.  Classes are divided into ongoing and special classes/series. 

Q - How do I know if the class is the right level for me?

A - Read the level in the description under "Great For"

Beginner - First timers and students who have only been to a few classes.

All-level - Students at all levels.  These classes can include advanced yogis. The pace will vary.

Moderate - Students who have practiced yoga for a while and are looking for an invigorating class.

Advanced - Students who are advanced yogis only.

Class Descriptions

Anusara Inspired Yoga: Moderate/Advanced Levels

Developed by John Friend in 1997, Anusara Yoga (R) fuses precise biomechanical alignment with a deep appreciation of the heart and spirit.  In our Anusara class, students can expect a dynamic asana practice that may include vinyasa sequences and more advanced practice poses, which will be taught in a way that is skillful, empowering, and fun, leading to deeper openings and healing.  

Great For: Moderate to Advanced yogis looking to deepen and challenge their practcie

Builds: Strength, breath skills, and alignment.

Why Try It: This class offers a challenge for even the most experienced yogi.

Candlelight Restorative Yoga

Come and start your week with a class focused on opening your body through poses and stretching, creating a feeling of release and openness that will leave you starting your week with ease. This class is great for mixed levels, those looking for a nice, deep stretch, or those looking to relax and renew before the chaos of the week starts. Gently guided meditation and mindfulness practice will be incorporated throughout the class.  This class includes hands-on adjustments for students who enjoy them.

Great For: Beginners, Moderates, Advanced Yogis
Builds: relaxation, centering, stress reduction, body restoration, mindfulness practice
Why Try It: You will leave feeling ready to stay balanced for the chaos of the week.

Gentle Yoga: All-Levels

Gentle Yoga is a class structured around thoughtfully rejuvenating the body. Yoga props such as blankets, blocks, bolsters, chairs and straps are often used for safe practice, and to allow the body to fully achieve each position in a body-sustaining way. Treat yourself, allowing  gentle flow sequences to move you from one centering asana to another while linking each movement with your breath. You will leave ready to start your weekend! This class is held at a slower pace and focuses on stretching all areas of the body, while releasing stress and tension from joints and muscles.

Great For: All levels, from beginners to experienced, are welcome.

Builds: Relaxation, overall healing benefits of stretching, breathwork skills.

Why Try It: This class is is an amazing class for beginners and 

to introduce themselves to yoga, as well as experienced yogis or

athletes looking to care for their bodies.

Hatha Yoga: All-Levels

A classic style of yoga that integrates asana (physical postures) with pranayama (breath).  Instruction emphasizes mindfulness in each asana, and will include meditation and mental centering throughout the practice.  This class will help improve flexibility, balance, strength, and connection to the breath.  Suitable for beginner and intermediate students who prefer a slower paced class.  Emphasis will be placed on form and alignment throughout our practice.  All are welcome!

Great For: Beginners, Moderates, Advanced Yogis

Flow: All-Levels & Moderate

In each class we will practice connecting the breath, body, mind, and spirit through movement and meditation. The intention is to help establish balance, flexibility, and an understanding that we can move through life with kindness, compassion, and grace for ourselves and each other. A theme of building an understanding of one’s own person will be emphasized utilizing yoga postures (asanas), breathing, and concentration/meditation in a mindful, accessible, and repeatable manner. This class is appropriate for beginner yogis.

Builds: Flexibility, mind clarity, increased energy flow, stress reduction
Why Try It: The use of breath work will leave you with skills you will

find yourself using at the office and beyond!

Kripalu Yoga: All-Levels

Whether you are curious about yoga and would like to begin to develop a practice, or already practice yoga and would like to deepen your practice, join us at Enlightened Interventions to explore yoga through breathwork, meditation and movement. This journey will explore the connection between mind, body and spirit as we breathe, relax, feel, watch and allow our inner self to be our personal guide. Invite yourself to experience a variety of body-enriching vinyasa-flows including gentle, full-body opening and stretching flows, meditation-in-motion, challenging warrior and balance flows, surya-namaskar (sun-salutations) and restorative yoga that will leave you feeling simply ahhh… Join us as we discover the deep, nourishing satisfaction of treating ourselves and our practice with compassion and gratitude.

Great For: Beginners, Moderates, Advanced Yogis

Builds: Inner and Outer Strength, Stamina, Centering
Why Try It: The "yoga of compassion" is the best thing you will do for yourself all week.

Vinyasa Lunchtime Flow

Take a much deserved and needed break for self-care with one hour of movement. Appropriate for all levels of experience, as it is a all-levels flow class that allows you slip right back into your work clothes and finish your day.

Great For: Beginners, Moderates, Advanced Yogis

Builds: Regulation skills, energy restoration
Why Try It: You will avoid your afternoon energy slump at work!

Nirvana Fitness®

NirvanaFitness® is a unique blend of simple to follow yoga/pilates toning exercises and rhythmic breathing, set to the most relaxing flow of uplifting and positive award winning music. Creating it’s own unique genre known as “Breathing Fitness to Music.” Each 60-minute NirvanaFitness® class leads participants to slower, deeper diaphragmatic breathing, which helps to reduce stress and improve overall wellbeing. Come take a class and enjoy the lasting benefits of the NirvanaFitness® experience!

Great For: Beginners, Moderates, Advanced Yogis

Builds: Self-awareness, self-acceptance, self-love, core strength, balance

Slow-Flow Yoga: All-Levels

In slow flow yoga, when we take time, our nervous systems relax, our minds slow down, our muscles become supple, our breath deepens – our inner chemistry shifts towards a biological balance, which one experiences as peace, tranquility, relaxation,  and emerging bliss. Slow Flow Yoga is based on aligning with the fluid rhythm and intelligence of your body. 

Great For: All levels, from beginners to experienced, are welcome.

Why Try It: The awareness of your body rebalancing and relaxing

is an amazing experience.

Broga® for Men*

Strong, energetic,and challenging, Broga combines the best core-strengthening, muscle-toning, cardio-working, stress-reducing, clarity-enhancing yoga postures with functional fitness exercises for an amazing workout. You’ll get that pumped-up feeling you get from working out and a deep flexibility and relaxation feeling from “working in.” Good music, cool vibes are a given in every class!

Great For: All levels, from beginners to experienced, are welcome. Men Only.

Builds: Up a sweat! And a true mind-body practice.

Why Try It: If you’ve already been to a class, we’ll see you again soon.

If not, you’ll thank yourself for making the effort to show up.

Spectrum Yoga*

Yoga is a wonderful way to calm anxiety, improve focus, increase body awareness, and build strength, flexibility, and balance.  In this class we will explore various means of self-regulation, including calming breaths and movements. This class is designed specifically to address these common issues for individuals with ADHD and on the Autism spectrum. We will relax and unwind in a fun, light-hearted way!  All levels are welcome, and no experience is necessary!  Parents and caregivers may relax in the back with a cup of tea, or you may join in the class at no extra cost.  There may be times when caregivers will be asked to assist.  Please join us in this supportive environment to relax, rejuvenate, and learn new skills!

Great For: Ages 10 and up, ADHD or on the ASD spectrum

Builds: self-regulation, body awareness, calming techniques

Why Try It: Yoga is for everybody, and has tremendous benefits for skills!

Yoga Tots*

Preschoolers learn unique preschooler-friendly yoga poses with songs, dance, stories, and games. Each class is personalized around preschoolers' curiosities as they learn yoga though social interaction, repetition, and play. Children also learn how to relieve frustration, improve motor skills, and increase attention span by actively following directions. Help your child build the foundation for a healthy and fit lifestyle while having fun!

No yoga experience is required.

Great For: Kids ages 3-5

Builds: Social Skills, Focusing skills, mind-body connection, emotion regulation

Why Try It: Your little ones will have an easier bedtime routine!

Balanced Kids Yoga*

Join us for a yoga class geared for kids and give your child the experience of increased emotional balance, decreased stress, increased frustration tolerance, and strengthened mind-body connection. Classes with include breath work, yoga Games, breathwork and kid-friendly asanas.

Great For: Kids ages 8-11

Builds: Social Skills, Focusing skills, mind-body connection, emotion regulation

Why Try It: Yoga has shown to have positive effects on kid's grades!

Yoga for Teens*

Join us for a fun yoga class focused on incorporating yoga skills specifically for teens. We combine fun and trendy music with traditional yoga asanas, poses, and breath work.

Great For: Teens ages 11-17

Builds: Social Skills, Focusing skills, mind-body connection, emotion regulation

Why Try It: Yoga Helps Teen, regulate their moods, connect with their bodies, find balance, release anxiety and tension, build self-esteem, and reduce stress.

Pilates: All-Levels*

Pilates is a system of controlled exercises that engage the mind and condition the total body. The blend of strength and flexibility training improves posture, reduces stress and creates long, lean muscles without bulking up.  Start with the fundamentals of the mat work. In this class you will learn the basic series of exercises upon which the entire Pilates method is built. The heavy emphasis on abdominal strengthening is a necessity at every fitness level.

Great For: Beginners, Everyone

Builds: Strength, Core Stamina, Proper Alignment, Injury Reduction,

Posture, stress reduction

Why Try It: Pilates takes a balanced approach so that no muscle group is overworked

and the body moves as an efficient, holistic system in sport and daily activity.

Mindbody Barre: All-Levels*

This mind-body infused class combines ballet conditioning, stress-reducing interval cardio, Pilates, yoga and meditation to strengthen your core, lengthen your muscles, center your mind and lift your spirits! A full mindbody experience!

Great For: Beginners, Everyone

Builds: Strength, Lengthens muscles, stress reduction

Why Try It: It's fun and will supplement your yoga practice!
